The company was recently awarded a $10M grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which will be used to further advance their clinical validation studies.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Cooler Heads<\/span><\/a> – has developed the first portable and FDA-approved cold cap, Amma\u2122, to help cancer patients keep their hair as they undergo chemotherapy. The company recently announced its expansion into 22 states as well as a partnership with Sharp HealthCare in San Diego. These strategic milestones are a big step forward for Cooler Heads as their scalp-cooling device will become more available to patients and hospitals across the country. HAI Solutions<\/span><\/a> – a medical device company developing innovative solutions to reducing contamination of IV devices in various hospital settings, the company recently announced an international partnership with a leading global disinfection company. This joint agreement will support distribution of 3.5 million units of innovative disinfection technologies to emerging markets. (Highlighted in Fall 2024)<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

UGenome AI<\/span><\/a> – founded in 2022, this early-stage healthtech company is developing bioinformatic solutions to accelerate the use of genomic medicine for personalized medicine treatments. The company recently announced a strategic partnership with Colorado-based Jura Health, a public benefit corporation whose mission is to drastically reduce the time needed to diagnose patients afflicted with a rare disease. Using UGenome\u2019s pharmacogenomic profiling platform, Jura Health can quickly inform patients of their genomic profile, thereby shortening the time for patients to receive the necessary care they need.<\/span><\/p>\n
